All of the Tennis-Point Gmbh owned shops, CenterCourt.de, Tennis-point.at, and Running-point.at were excellent so far. Great products, fast delivery, fast processing of returns, always got the money back.
However, the new feature, 'Abholstation' choice is a disgrace. What they do, they simply print the address of the choosen Abholstation in the address field below your name and send a package as a personal package, as if you live or work in the Abholstation. You cannot send a package this way to a Post Office, if you would like to use the Post Office as an Abholstation. You have to send it specifically, stating that the package should stay at the Post Office and the recipient should receive a personal code with which he/she can obtain the package. I ordered two packages nearly the same time choosing Abholstation. The first one I was able to arrange with my local post office to take over, but they said that it should absolutely not happen again. The other package I was able to re-route using Österreichische Post app to be delivered to an Abholstation (to the exact same address, but in a proper way, me receiving code).
It was a lot of stress and headaches. I don't know whether this was an isolated mistake, or it is a broader issue of the ordering service and processes not being properly set up.
I had the feeling during the ordering process that this can happen, but I trusted the company that they know what they are doing if they started to offer this additional shipping service. What's more, when I generated the return label, of course the address of the Post Office appears as my address, there is stress again whether the post office lady will let me send the package like this...
All in all, I absolutely recommend using any of the Tennis-Point brands, just do not choose the Abholstation option.
