I was interested in buying an oven, so I made phone calls to several suppliers, since it is complicated to arrange deliveries around renovations. When I called Sagoma, they acted as if they were a company that offered care and service to their clients, and assured me they would let me know when the oven arrived, and contact me to arrange the delivery. I received no such notice. The oven was sent, without anyone contacting me, I was sent an email with a tracking number for DB schenker, and no delivery date scheduled. There was a suggested delivery date, which came and went, without any oven, and when I called Sagoma, they said the issue was out of their hands and I would have to contact DB Schenker. When the oven finally did arrive, there was only curbside service. I am pregnant, and would have been happy to pay more for the oven to be carried to my 2nd floor apartment, but was never given that option. I was left in a very difficult situation, with an expensive oven sitting on the road, and frantically searching for friends and neighbours to come, at the last minute, to help me. When I called Sagoma to complain, I was gas-lit, hung up on multiple times, and overall treated as if the mistake had been mine. There were no solutions offered, nor sympathy, nor an apology for the misunderstanding. In fact the male operator very misogynistically, when I called back after he hung up the first time, said "can we talk about it rationally now, or are you going to cry about it." (I was not crying, by the way). I was misled in the first place: there were promises of service or at least communication that were not kept. And in the second place I was very poorly treated. Better experiences with Mediamarkt and Ikea. Sagoma does NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. STAY AWAY FROM SAGOMA!!!
